Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the Everlune app. By using Everlune you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What Everlune is
Everlune is an app for iPhone (iOS 17 or later) and Android that helps you keep a short list of daily habits for a set number of days, and lets a small circle of friends see your progress and cheer you on. You choose a program, tick your rituals off each day, and can attach a photo if you want to.
2. What Everlune is not
Everlune is a habit and consistency app. It is not a health, medical or fitness service. Nothing in the app is medical, dietary, psychological or fitness advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. The recipes in the Kitchen and the movement ideas in The Edit are general suggestions, not a prescription. Everlune does not collect health or fitness data and makes no claim about any outcome for your body or your health.
The programs are generic templates. They have not been reviewed for your circumstances, and some of them ask for things — a restricted diet, a set volume of water, two workouts a day, an earlier wake-up — that are not right for everyone. Please speak to a doctor or another qualified professional before you start, and especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are under 18, have a medical condition, take medication, or have any history of disordered eating. Adapt or skip any ritual that is not right for you, stop if you feel unwell, and take part entirely at your own risk.
Recipes are general inspiration, not dietary advice — always check the ingredients yourself for anything you are allergic or intolerant to. If you are struggling with your relationship with food, exercise or your body, please talk to a health professional or a support organisation where you live.
3. Setup and access
Everlune has no login, no password and no email registration. You enter a first name, answer three questions and choose a program. Because there is no account to recover, keep in mind that access to your data is tied to your device and your invite code. You are responsible for the security of the device you use Everlune on.
4. Price
Everlune is currently free to download and use, and nothing in the app is locked behind a paywall. If that ever changes, you will be told clearly in the app before it applies to you. Your mobile carrier’s data charges are your own.
5. Challenges, rules and restarts
Each program has its own character, and some are written to be strict. The Hard 75 states the rule “miss a day, start over” — that is the ethos of that program and a promise you make to yourself. Everlune does not reset your challenge for you. Pausing, resuming and restarting a challenge are always your choice, in every program, and you can customise the habit list, the length and the start date at any time.
6. Your circle
Friends are added with an eight-character invite code that you share. There is no public directory and no user search. Anyone you connect with can see your first name, your program, your day number, which rituals you have ticked and when, and the daily photo you share. Only share your invite code with people you want to see that.
Everlune has no chat, no direct messages and no comments. Encouragement is a single cheer, once per friend per day.
Not every profile in Everlune belongs to an independent member of the public: some accounts and some activity are created and run by Everlune, and some figures shown in the app are illustrative rather than live counts. Our Privacy Policy explains this.
7. Photos and content you add
You keep ownership of the photos and text you add to Everlune. By adding them, you grant Everlune a limited licence to store, process and display that content for the purpose of running the app — showing it back to you, showing it to the friends you have connected with, and showing it in a Discover group if you post it there. That licence ends when you delete the content.
You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. Be especially careful with photographs of other people.
8. Community rules
Discover groups are public within the group. When using Everlune, you agree not to:
- post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening or sexually explicit;
- post images of other people without their permission;
- impersonate someone else, or use Everlune to deceive or defraud;
- post content that promotes disordered eating, self-harm or extreme restriction;
- attempt to break, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service;
- use Everlune for advertising, spam or commercial solicitation.
We may remove content or withdraw access where these rules are broken.
9. Availability
We try to keep Everlune running and to keep your data intact, but the service is provided as it is. Features may change, and parts of the app may be unavailable during maintenance or because of faults outside our control. Everlune is offline-first: you can tick your rituals without a connection, and they sync when you are back online.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Everlune at any time by deleting the app, and you can ask for your data to be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access where these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Everlune is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or any harm arising from your use of the app or from activities you choose to do as part of a challenge. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Apple and Google
Everlune is distributed through the App Store and Google Play. Neither Apple nor Google is a party to these terms, and neither is responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Everlune, and is not responsible for addressing any claim you or a third party may have relating to it, including any intellectual-property claim. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Apple, the Apple logo and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC. Your use of either store is also governed by that store's own terms, and anything you ever buy through a store is subject to that store's payment and refund policies.
13. Intellectual property
The Everlune name, the crescent moon mark, the app’s design, its written programs, its editorial content and its recipes belong to Everlune and its licensors. You may use them inside the app as intended, and not otherwise.
14. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them, and material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Everlune after a change means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which Everlune’s operator is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you are entitled to where you live.
